Sean joined MidAmerican Aerospace in
early 2008 after graduating from the University of Iowa with a BA in Business
Management. While studying at Iowa Sean met his fiancé, Trisha Sims,
during his senior year. Trisha has turned Sean into quite an avid Chicago White
Sox fan since she is from the South Side of Chicago. They plan to marry in
August of 2011.
Sean is a native of Cedar Rapids, IA and
graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School. He was the captain of the
varsity baseball team during his senior year and also participated in
basketball, golf and tennis during his High School career. Sean continued his
baseball career at Iowa as a member of the Iowa Club Baseball team, and now
enjoys beer league Softball.
During college Sean spent a
semester abroad on the Semester At Sea program. This program consisted of
studying on a cruise ship while circumnavigating the world. They started in
Mexico and made 5-day stops in Hawaii, Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India,
Egypt, Turkey, Croatia and Spain. Sean's favorite countries were Japan,
Vietnam, Thailand, and Egypt.
