James
graduated from Hemet High School in Hemet, California. He was
a
member of the United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973 as an Aircraft
Mechanic specializing in landing gear, flight control repairs and
flight line maintenance. He attended Mountain View Junior
College
in Texas for two years working toward a Mechanical Engineering degree
from 1975 to 1977.
James joined MidAmerican Aerospace in April of 2007 bringing 37 years
of aviation expertise. He has worked with several
distinguished
aviation companies throughout his career. He was with Aviall
for
16 years as an engine mechanic, quality control inspector, and worked
in customer service, sales and marketing. He worked for
FINOVA
Capital in the aircraft lease division for 3 years as an engine
consultant and then for four years as their Power Plant Manager/Engineer.
James brings to MidAmerican Aerospace great opportunities with his
expertise and technical advice and new adventures such as engine repair
management and engine leasing.
In his spare time he enjoys his home and on the weekends he enjoys an
occasion 8-20 mile mountain hike.
