David Virden grew
up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
and then attended and graduated from Central
College, a private, four year liberal
arts located in Pella, Iowa with a degree in Communications with an
emphasis in Business Management. Following
school, David pursued his main interest of golf by selling golf equipment and
doing club fittings.
David joined the MidAmerican
Aerospace team in August 2006. David
will move to sales after he gains knowledge and experience within our materials
handling section by processing parts and assisting with procuring inventory
during our field tear-downs.
David graduated from Cedar Rapids’ Washington
High School where he was
an avid golfer and swimmer. At Central College, David had the distinction of being
the executive producer of Dutch Mania Television. This segment combined the work of Central College journalism students into a
campus production aired in the campus movie theater. When not working, David spends his free time
golfing, building computers, and playing ping pong.
