Colin
began his employment at MidAmerican Aerospace during its start-up in
August 2004 as the third generation son in this family owned
business. Colin attended Iowa State University with an emphasis
in Political Science. Prior to joining our team, Colin worked
within the restaurant industry and home improvement business arenas
where he gained valuable experiences in customer relations, inventory
management, and materials expertise.
Colin is the
leader of our field crew responsible for aircraft tear downs. He
is the resident expert on parts inventory, document control, tagging,
photography, and shipment of parts to our two warehouse locations in
Arizona and Iowa.
Colin was a High
School All-American swimmer and decorated member of the Cedar Rapids
Washington High School Swim Team. His impressive accomplishments
included winning the state championship during each of his four years
in school while being one of four winning team members that set the
Iowa state record in the 200 yard freestyle relay that continued to be
the record for 10 years. Most notably, the team earned the most
points in the nation that year and earned the title of ‘National
Power Point Champs’. Colin’s other interests include
playing disc golf and watching sports
